     If hired to improve Baruch College through the use of new media I would improve some things. The use of blackboard is good, but the discussion board in my opinion is rarely used. I think that a group on a preferred social media site should be created for every class in which the students can talk to each other easier and more freely. It is never the case where any student receives the contact information from all of their respective classmates.

     With the use of this group chat any questions, concerns or simple unification of information can be made easier for all of the students. Once a student feels like they are sharing an experience, problem or difficulty it would be easier to find a solution with the help of others. It is very easy to feel isolated in a classroom even though you are surrounded by so many peers.
